Outreach and Ministry Grants

The Outreach and Ministries Grants program provides incentives and support for congregations to initiate new and creative programs that express the love of Christ in their communities.

Application Process

The application form should be filled out completely and submitted to the at least three weeks in advance of the next scheduled meeting of the Mission Center Financial Advisory Committee. Copies of the application will be forwarded to Advisory Committee members for advance consideration. The Advisory Committee will approve or decline the application. Acceptance Criteria

Subject to availability of funds, applications will be evaluated based on the viability of the concept, the ability of the congregation to support the program long term with its own personnel, and sources of financial support other than the grant. Grants are designed to support program activity. No grants will be made for building projects or to improve existing structures. The Mission Center may apply for grants that benefit multiple congregations but not for funds that merely support Mission Center Office operations. Other Mission Center staff such as the missionary coordinator and youth minister will be invited as appropriate to discuss the merits of applications. An annual accounting of the use of the funds will be submitted to the Mission Center Financial Officer until the funds are exhausted.
